Susan McPherson, MA, Adults (18+)
Susan earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness. Her educational background contributes to a holistic understanding of well-being and a belief that emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual health are deeply connected.
Susan works with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, relationship and communication difficulties, self-discovery, and personal growth. She approaches counseling primarily from a Solution-Focused and person-centered perspective, helping clients recognize existing strengths, gain clarity, and identify meaningful steps toward change. Her style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a judgment-free environment where clients can explore their experiences openly and honestly.
Faith is an important part of Susan’s understanding of whole-person care. For clients who desire it, she is comfortable incorporating Christian faith into the counseling process in a way that reflects the client’s individual beliefs, values, and goals.
