About us.
Our Approach
At ARC Counseling, we utilize a client-centered, collaborative approach to mental health treatment. We recognize that each client presents with unique experiences, perspectives, and clinical needs, and we work to establish a safe, supportive therapeutic environment that facilitates exploration, insight, and goal-directed change.
Our clinical work draws from a range of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and child-centered play therapy (CCPT), within an attachment-informed and psychodynamic framework. This integrative approach allows treatment to be tailored to the individual, couple, or family. We also incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion, and sustainable self-care practices as clinically supportive components of overall mental health and emotional regulation.
Our Faith
ARC Counseling is a Christian-based practice that recognizes faith can be a part of the core beliefs that shape how individuals make sense of themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. We welcome and serve individuals from all religious, spiritual, and cultural backgrounds, approaching each person with care and thoughtfulness. Grounded in a Christian perspective, our practice honors the call to love God and love others by sitting with clients without an agenda to influence or direct their religious beliefs. All ARC counselors are clinically trained mental health professionals, and our work is grounded in ethical practice, clinical expertise, and a deep regard for each client’s values and internal framework. When a client desires, Christian faith can be thoughtfully integrated into the clinical process.
Our Team
Our counselors are highly trained and experienced in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups across the lifespan. We are committed to ongoing professional development, consultation, and supervision to ensure thoughtful, high-quality care that reflects current clinical standards.
ARC Counseling also serves as a teaching practice, supporting the development of emerging counselors through structured training and close supervision by licensed clinicians. This collaborative model allows clients to benefit from a team-based approach that combines attentive care with multiple levels of clinical insight.
