Individual
ARC provides counseling for adults and adolescents navigating mental and emotional challenges. We work with concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, PTSD/trauma, personality disorders, social & relational stressors, and major life changes. Therapy focuses on building insight, emotional steadiness, and healthy coping skills.
Child Play Therapy
ARC provides therapeutic, play-based counseling that helps children express themselves and understand what they are experiencing. We work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavior challenges, school & social stressors, and family changes. The focus is on supporting emotional growth, resilience, and healthy development.
Couples & Family
ARC provides couples counseling and family therapy for those experiencing relational and emotional distress. We work with concerns including communication breakdowns, conflict, trust issues, betrayal, parenting challenges, blended family dynamics, and longstanding relational patterns. Therapy focuses on improving communication, increasing emotional regulation, and strengthening healthier patterns of connection.
Single Assessments
ARC provides formal mental health assessments conducted in a professional and objective manner. Evaluations focus on clear, accurate information and ethical standards, with careful attention to documentation and clinical integrity. Our role is to offer thorough, unbiased assessments that support informed decision-making while maintaining respect and professionalism throughout the process.

Brooke Atkinson, LPC, CPCS

Brooke is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 20 years of experience in trauma-related fields and more than a decade in clinical counseling. She is the founder of ARC Counseling, where she provides faith-based, attachment-informed care to individuals and couples.
Brooke specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, personality disorders, family dynamics, and relationship concerns. Her background includes work as a law enforcement officer, expert witness, guardian ad litem, and counselor, offering a broad and informed perspective on trauma and its impact.
As a CPCS, Brooke provides ongoing clinical supervision to ARC’s unlicensed and provisionally licensed counselors, ensuring thoughtful oversight and high-quality care. Her approach is grounded in attachment theory and evidence-based practice, with a focus on meaningful, lasting change.
Lisa Brown, LPC

Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and co-founder of ARC Counseling, with over a decade of experience in the counseling field. She brings a diverse professional background spanning legal settings, corporate environments, small business ownership, and even adventure-based industries, informing a grounded and dynamic approach to clinical work.
Lisa works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, OCD, personality-related patterns, faith/religious angst, high-conflict divorce, caretaker stress, and life transitions related to post-career identity and retirement. Her therapeutic approach is attachment-informed and psychodynamic, emphasizing insight, emotional depth, and relational understanding.
Drawing on both clinical training and real-world experience, Lisa offers thoughtful, steady support to clients facing complex personal and relational challenges.
Hannah Palmer, LAPC
Hannah is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Christian Counseling and a minor in Marriage and Family Studies from Liberty University, and completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. She is currently pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist.
Hannah is passionate about supporting children and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. She primarily works with children ages 11 and under, offering a developmentally attuned, engaging, and emotionally safe approach to therapy. Her clinical interests include anxiety, self-esteem, depression, anger, grief, life transitions, peer and sibling conflict, school-related concerns, and ADHD.
Grounded in her faith, Hannah’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and child-centered. She values meeting children where they are while partnering closely with caregivers to foster growth, emotional regulation, and resilience within the family system.

Olivia Knox, MA
Olivia Knox holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Truett McConnell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emmanuel College. She has worked in the mental health field since 2016 and brings both experience and intentionality to her clinical work.
Olivia approaches counseling with a deep belief that healing begins through understanding and authentic connection. Her therapeutic style integrates attachment-informed, person-centered, and solution-focused frameworks, allowing her to meet clients where they are while gently exploring the patterns that shape thoughts, emotions, and relationships. She works primarily with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, supporting greater stability, self-understanding, and emotional growth.
Faith is an important influence in Olivia’s life and informs the care she provides with humility and compassion. She views counseling as a calling and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward restoration and wholeness.

Jenny Burns, Graduate-Level Counseling Intern
Jenny Burns is a graduate-level counseling intern currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College in Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Samford University in Alabama and is preparing for future licensure as a professional counselor.
Prior to beginning graduate training, Jenny served as a pastoral counselor for four years, supporting individuals and families through trauma, ADHD, infertility, child loss, and spiritual struggles, including experiences of church hurt. This background shaped her belief in caring for individuals as whole and integrated beings and influenced her decision to pursue clinical counseling.
Jenny is especially passionate about working with children, teens, and individuals navigating grief, loss, or spiritual wounds. She strives to offer a steady, compassionate presence and a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported and less alone. For clients who desire it, faith can be thoughtfully incorporated into the therapeutic process.

Chinelo Brown, Graduate-Level Counseling Intern
Chinelo Brown is a graduate-level counseling intern currently earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College. She is preparing for future licensure and brings a thoughtful, encouraging presence to her clinical work.
Prior to entering the counseling field, Chinelo spent six years working in the insurance industry, where she developed strong skills in communication, support, and coaching. This background informs her ability to help clients clarify goals, navigate change, and make intentional decisions during challenging seasons of life.
Chinelo works with clients ages 11 and up and supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, relationship concerns, career transitions, and major life changes. She incorporates cognitive-behavioral and motivational approaches to offer practical, skill-based support that promotes insight, confidence, and forward movement.
Faith is an important value in Chinelo’s life and may be thoughtfully included in counseling for clients who desire it. She describes herself as a natural encourager and is committed to offering steady support and hope as clients work toward meaningful growth.

Bradley Williams, Graduate-Level Counseling Intern
Bradley Williams is a graduate-level counseling intern currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. He brings an engaged, approachable presence to the counseling process and is motivated to support individuals in building healthier and more meaningful lives.
Bradley has long been interested in understanding how people think, feel, and grow, and he hopes to pursue research in the field in the future. His experience includes working with children in an aftercare program and serving veterans as a personal caregiver, which strengthened his ability to listen, connect, and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Bradley works with clients ages 13 and up and enjoys working with a wide range of presenting concerns. He is especially focused on helping individuals gain peace of mind, navigate life with greater confidence, and strengthen emotional and relational well-being.
Bradley brings a genuine, curious, and welcoming presence to his work. His warmth and enthusiasm for the counseling process help clients feel supported as they explore their experiences and move toward personal growth.
