Sam Cruce, MA, MDIV, Adults 19+

Samuel Cruce earned a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling in 2014 and later returned to graduate school to pursue professional counseling training, driven by a longstanding passion for serving others through meaningful and lasting change. As a veteran, Sam brings a grounded, steady presence to his work and values the importance of building genuine relationships characterized by trust, respect, and authenticity.

Sam approaches counseling from a person-centered framework while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. His style is warm, thoughtful, and approachable, creating space for clients to explore difficult experiences while working toward practical and sustainable growth. He works primarily with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, spiritual concerns, and men's issues.

Faith has played a significant role in Sam's personal and professional journey and contributes to the perspective he brings to counseling. He believes healing often involves addressing the emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of a person's experience and is comfortable integrating faith into treatment when it aligns with a client's goals and values.

Sam is a Master's Level Clinician serving under the clinical supervision of Brooke Atkinson, LPC, CPCS.
