Jenny Burns, Graduate-Level Counseling Intern, Adults/Adolescents/Children 3+/Couples

Jenny is a graduate-level counseling intern currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College in Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Samford University in Alabama and is preparing for future licensure as a professional counselor.

Prior to beginning graduate training, Jenny served as a pastoral counselor for four years, supporting individuals and families through trauma, ADHD, infertility, child loss, and spiritual struggles, including experiences of church hurt. This background shaped her belief in caring for individuals as whole and integrated beings and influenced her decision to pursue clinical counseling.

Jenny is especially passionate about working with children, teens, and individuals navigating grief, loss, or spiritual wounds. She strives to offer a steady, compassionate presence and a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported and less alone. For clients who desire it, faith can be thoughtfully incorporated into the therapeutic process.

Jenny is clinically supervised by Brooke Atkinson, LPC, CPCS.
