Chinelo Brown, Graduate-Level Counseling Intern, Adults/Adolescents/Children 9+

Chinelo is a graduate-level counseling intern currently earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College. She is preparing for future licensure and brings a thoughtful, encouraging presence to her clinical work.

Prior to entering the counseling field, Chinelo spent six years working in a corporate role, where she developed strong skills in workplace dynamics, leadership, operations, and professional coaching. This experience informs her ability to help clients clarify goals, navigate workplace stress, manage transitions, and make intentional decisions during challenging seasons of life.

Chinelo works with clients ages 11 and up and supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, relationship concerns, career transitions, and major life changes. She incorporates cognitive-behavioral and motivational approaches to provide practical, skill-based support that promotes insight, confidence, and forward movement.

Faith is an important value in Chinelo’s life and may be thoughtfully included in counseling for clients who desire it. She describes herself as a natural encourager and is committed to offering steady support and hope as clients work toward meaningful growth.
