Cassidy Champion, Graduate Level Intern

Cassidy is a graduate-level counseling intern currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Toccoa Falls, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology.

Cassidy is especially passionate about helping couples and families strengthen their relationships, deepen emotional intimacy, and develop safe, effective communication. She works with children to support their emotional and relational well-being. Having spent three years mentoring adolescents in residential settings, she also supports teens in building self-esteem and developing confidence in their unique identities.

Cassidy’s approach is collaborative and responsive to the unique needs and dynamics of each child, adolescent, individual, couple, and family. She believes healing looks different for everyone and strives to create a supportive environment where clients can grow in ways that feel meaningful to them. For clients who desire it, Christian faith can be intentionally incorporated into the therapeutic process.

Cassidy is clinically supervised by Lisa Brown, LPC.
